About Mrs. Stewart:
First off, welcome to my web site and to my classroom. It is an honor to be your child's teacher. I am originally from Alabama. I lived there for thirty years, and yes, I am a HUGE Alabama Crimson Tide fan. My family and moved to Georgia in 2000 where I started teaching at Walnut Grove Elementary School. I taught at Walnut Grove for two years before I moved to Youth Elementary School. I have been at YES ever since. I have taught Pre-K through fourth grade, but fourth grade is where I have taught the longest. I love teaching and seeing students learn. I have taught for over 20 years, and see every year as a new adventure.
I live in Loganville with my husband, two sons, four dogs, and cat. My oldest son graduated from Loganville High School in 2011, and my youngest son is starting his senior year at Walnut Grove High School this school year. We enjoy going to movies and traveling. I love to travel! Shopping and cooking are also favorite pastimes of mine as well. We also enjoy working and playing with our animals. Watching Alabama football games is also a big thing in our household! ROLL TIDE!
With all of that being said, I am looking forward to working with students and parents alike. It is going to be a great year!
